1. Introduction & Scope
This policy applies strictly to the LPCD Entry Keyboard Android application and its backend verification services. By installing or using the application, you agree to the data practices described in this document.
Uninstalling the application immediately stops all further on-device data processing.
2. Information We Collect
A. Google Login Data (Firebase Authentication):
Name and Email Address
Google User Identifier (UID)
B. Local Device Storage (Room Database):
Student roll numbers, names, and marks entered manually by the user
Student Unique IDs (UID), Student IDs, and Gender imported from user-selected Excel files
User-saved presets used for fast entry convenience
C. Device & Usage Metadata:
Device model, OS version, language, and regional country code
Temporary authentication timestamps and security logs for trial validation
📌 Zero Keystroke Logging Guarantee:
LPCD Entry Keyboard does NOT record, monitor, save, or transmit your keystrokes, typed text, passwords, OTPs, or personal messages. All standard typing is processed locally by your Android operating system.
Keyboard Data Handling Disclosure
LPCD Entry Keyboard is an optional Android input method designed solely
for structured marks entry and educational data entry assistance.
No keystrokes are recorded, stored, analyzed, or transmitted.
No passwords, OTPs, personal messages, or payment information are collected.
No screen capture, keylogging, or behavioral monitoring occurs.
All typing is processed locally by the Android operating system.
The developer has no access to user typing activity.
Users should avoid using this keyboard for passwords,
banking credentials, OTP codes, or other highly sensitive information.
3. Why We Collect Information

4. How We Use Information
Account Access: Providing secure login without storing passwords.
Feature Provisioning:
Checking Firebase cloud services and local application data to verify subscription status, trial eligibility, account access, and compatibility with supported application versions.
Local Database Operation: Populating your device's private internal storage so you can view and export your entered marks.
Customer Support: Looking up your account UID if you email us for troubleshooting.
5. Data Sharing Policy
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share personal data with advertisers or external data brokers.
Your data is shared exclusively with necessary, industry-standard infrastructure providers:
Google Firebase: For secure authentication and cloud function validation.
Google Play Services: For core Android system interactions and secure billing infrastructure.
5.1 Firebase Services Usage
LPCD Entry Keyboard utilizes secure Firebase services provided by Google
to support authentication, subscription management, security validation,
and application access control.
Firebase Cloud Services:
LPCD Entry Keyboard may utilize Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication,
Cloud Functions, Firestore, and limited Realtime Database components,
for subscription verification, account-level access control,
security validation, and application service management.
Firebase Cloud Functions:
Used for secure purchase verification, subscription validation,
fraud prevention, and backend security checks.
No student marks, examination records, imported spreadsheets,
keystrokes, passwords, OTPs, user-generated typing content,
diagnostic logs, or activity logs are stored in Firebase cloud services.
5.2 Keyboard Data Handling
LPCD Entry Keyboard does not collect, record, monitor, transmit, upload, share, sell, or store the text typed by users through the keyboard.
Passwords, OTPs, banking information, personal messages, and other typed content remain on the user's device and are not accessible to the developer.
6. No Advertising or Tracking
LPCD Entry Keyboard contains zero third-party advertisements. We do not use user profiling software, advertising trackers, or cross-app metadata harvesting tools.
7. Import / Export Policy
When you import spreadsheets (.xlsx) or export marks to PDF/Excel, the app utilizes Android’s secure Scoped Storage system via the native system file picker.
The application reads imported files locally solely to populate your device's SQLite database. Exported files are generated locally on your hardware. At no point are your imported or exported examination files transmitted to our servers.
7.1 Online Portal Integration (Auto-Fill Feature)
LPCD Entry Keyboard includes an optional "Online Marks Entry" feature that allows users to access supported educational portals through an in-app browser.
Local-to-Web Transfer:
When a user activates the Auto-Fill feature, the application reads marks and related records stored in the device's local database and populates compatible web forms within the selected portal.
User-Initiated Action:
Auto-Fill operates only after an explicit user action. No marks or records are automatically submitted without user interaction.
No Intermediate Servers:
Student records are not transmitted to Shyama Database servers during this process. Data moves directly from the user's device to the destination website through the active browser session.
Third-Party Websites:
Information submitted to external educational, institutional, or government portals becomes subject to the privacy policies and terms of those respective websites.
Service Availability:
The Developer reserves the right to suspend, modify, restrict, or discontinue the Online Marks Entry feature at any time, with or without prior notice.
7.2 Secure Backup & Restore
LPCD Entry Keyboard provides an optional Secure Backup and Restore
feature to help users protect locally stored records, preserve application
settings, and transfer data between compatible devices.
Local Storage Only:
Backup files are created and stored locally on the user's device or in
storage locations selected by the user, including cloud storage services,
external storage devices, or personal computers.
No Developer Access:
Backup files are not uploaded to, stored on, processed by, or accessible
through developer-controlled servers.
Database Protection:
Backup files may contain a copy of the application's local database,
including user-created records, imported data, saved presets,
configuration settings, and other locally stored application information.
Encrypted Storage:
Where applicable, database-level encryption technologies are used to help
protect stored information from unauthorized access. Additional account,
license, and security verification mechanisms may be used to validate
application access and subscription eligibility.
Restore Operation:
Restoring a backup replaces the application's current local database with
the selected backup file stored on the user's device. Existing local data
may be permanently overwritten during the restore process.
User Responsibility:
Users are responsible for maintaining copies of backup files in a secure
location and for verifying the accuracy and suitability of selected
backup files before performing a restore operation.
🔒 Subscription & License Protection:
Backup and Restore operations do not bypass subscription verification,
trial eligibility checks, account validation, or license enforcement
mechanisms. Premium access remains subject to Google Play Billing,
Firebase verification services, and applicable security controls.
The developer cannot recover backup files that have been deleted,
overwritten, corrupted, damaged, or lost outside the application.
8. Clipboard Policy
The application features an optional "Copy to Clipboard" button to help users paste structured marks into third-party spreadsheet apps.
This action triggers only on an explicit user button press. The app writes the formatted string to Android's system clipboard; it does not passively read, monitor, or harvest any existing content residing on your clipboard.
9. Subscription Verification Data
To verify premium purchases, the app transmits an anonymous Google Play Purchase Token to Firebase Cloud Functions.
🔒 No Financial Data Access:
All billing transactions are executed securely by Google Play. LPCD Entry Keyboard never collects, sees, or stores your credit card numbers, UPI IDs, bank accounts, or billing addresses.
9.1 Trial Period & Premium Subscriptions
Users may receive a limited trial period after installation to evaluate
application features before purchasing a subscription.
Trial eligibility, subscription status, and account access may be
securely linked to the user's authenticated account to prevent misuse
and ensure fair access to premium features.
Trial status may be stored securely in Firebase services.
Subscription status may be stored as Active, Expired, or Cancelled.
Premium features are enabled only while a valid subscription exists.
No student records, marks, or typing activity are used for subscription management.
All payments are processed exclusively by Google Play Billing.
LPCD Entry Keyboard never receives or stores credit card numbers,
banking information, UPI credentials, or payment passwords.
Subscriptions may automatically renew unless cancelled through the
user's Google Play account settings.
10. Data Retention
Local Data: Student marks and database entries remain on your physical device until you manually clear app storage or uninstall the app.
Cloud Account Data: Firebase authentication records and subscription status links are retained until you explicitly request account deletion.
Security Logs: Temporary anti-fraud validation logs are automatically purged after processing.
11. User Rights
Under applicable digital privacy frameworks, you hold the right to:
Request a summary of the account data tied to your Firebase UID
Request correction of inaccurate account registration details
Request total, permanent deletion of your cloud account
Revoke data collection consent instantly by uninstalling the software
12. Children’s Privacy
This software is a professional data entry utility intended for adult educators and administrators. It is not designed for, marketed to, nor does it knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13.
13. Security Measures
OS Sandboxing: All local examination data is quarantined inside Android's private app directory, inaccessible to other installed apps.
Encrypted Transit: All network communication with Firebase utilizes modern HTTPS/TLS encryption.
Local Database Protection:
Student records and application data are stored locally using Room database technology within Android's private application storage. Where applicable, database-level encryption is used to help protect stored information from unauthorized access.
14. Permissions Used
android.permission.INTERNET — Required for Google Sign-In, license checks, and loading tutorial video thumbnails.
Note: This app strictly adheres to Scoped Storage guidelines and does not request broad MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (All Files Access) permissions.
15. Data Deletion
Users wishing to permanently wipe their cloud authentication account can submit a request via email to our support address. Verified account purge requests are executed within 7 to 30 business days.
16. Compliance Information
Data Server Routing: Cloud authentication handling via Google Firebase may route data through secure Google servers situated in India or the United States.
YouTube Tutorials: Embedded tutorial links open the native YouTube platform. Watching these tutorials subjects the viewer to Google/YouTube’s independent Terms of Service.

LPCD Entry Keyboard is an independently developed software application
published by Shyama Database. The application is not affiliated with,
endorsed by, authorized by, or connected to any government department,
education board, examination authority, school administration, or public institution.
The software functions solely as a user-controlled typing and data-entry
utility. All data submissions, records, and administrative actions remain
under the user's responsibility.

17. Policy Updates
We reserve the right to modify this policy to reflect application updates or evolving legal mandates. Material changes will be signaled via in-app update notices or Google Play changelogs. Continued use of the software constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
17.1 Developer Safety Commitment
Only the minimum information required for application functionality is collected.
No keystrokes, passwords, OTPs, or sensitive typing activity are logged.
No personal information is sold, rented, or shared with advertisers.
No hidden monitoring, profiling, or background surveillance occurs.
All sensitive actions require direct user interaction.
Transparency, security, and user privacy remain core principles of application development.
17.2 User Responsibility
Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying all entered, copied, exported, printed, or submitted information before final use.
The developer cannot verify the accuracy of user-entered data and cannot recover locally deleted records, exported files, or clipboard contents once removed from the device.
Users are also responsible for protecting their device, Google account credentials, subscription access, and locally stored application data.
Verification of Automated Entry:
Users are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all information populated through Auto-Fill, Random Fill, or other automation features before submitting data to any external website or portal.
